By bicycle on Piestany and surroundings

Piestany is a paradise for bikers. The town and its surroundings are flat and therefore suitable even for untrained cyklists, seniors, families with children.

Near the hotel is Biketrail Dubova and also Biketrail around Slnava. Through the town and its surrounding leads significant cycle roads:

Vazska cycling route:

set of market cycling paths along the river from Madunice through Piestany and Trencin to Zilina. Mostly runs on dikes of Vah river and asphalt roads, as well as the public roads. Main route leads from hydroelektric station Madunice between channel and Vah river alongside Slnava dam to Piestany. From there continues to Nove Mesto nad Vahom via Beckov to Trencín and Nemsova. Here by state road leads via Puchov, Povazska Bystrica, Bytca to Zilina.

Malokarpatska cycling route:

long-distance route leading underneath Male Karpaty. It starts in Nove Mesto nad Vahom and via Cachtice, Vrbove, Trstin, Bukova, Pernek leads to Vysoka pri Morave, where it ends. It is mostly driven by public roads.

Kopaniciarska cycling route:

leads across Myjavska pahorkatina. It starts in Považany on Vazska cycling route and underneath Cachtice castle, via Stara Tura and Myjava leads to Senica, where it ends. It is mostly driven by state and public roads.
