Park of miniatures in Podolie
A unique park of reconstructions of Slovak castles, fortified castles and rare sacral sites can be found in Podolie, between Piestany and Nove Mesto nad Vahom. They are built according to scientific reconstructions in a scale of 1:50 and are placed in the outside space of the local elementary school.
Currently you will find 27 models - reconstruction of the castle Branc, Cerveny kamen, Krupinska vartovka, Zivanska, Holic Castle, New Castle in Banska Stiavnica, Jelsava Castle, Castle Reviste, church in Klizske Hradiste, Tvrdosinsky church of Sivetice Castle, Castle Mala Lednica, castle Tematin and castle Cachtice. It is assumed that in the park will be built about 50 models of foreign and Slovak heritage.
It is possible to get here by bicycle following the red cycle route of Malokarpacká cycling route, hikers can reach here without problems since the park is located in the centre of the village.
